Yadā tv ime tu prabhavanti dharmā

Vidhūpayaṁs tiṣṭhati Mārasainyaṁ,
Buddho hi saṁyojanavipramukta iti. The simile in the Pāḷi: he dwells dispelling Māra's army, as the sun (dwells) lighting up the firmament, is dispensed with in the Sanskrit: he dwells dispelling Māra's army - the Buddha is thus free from the fetters.02

Ud. 1-4: Nigrodhasuttaṁ

Yo brāhmaṇo bāhitapāpadhammo, There is a word play here between brāhmaṇo & bāhita- , which is almost lost with the Sanskritisation of brāhmaṇo, which re-introduces the -r- element, which must have been missing in the original dialect. The word play is even more obscured in the Udānavarga version, where bāhita- has become vāhita-.03
Nihuhuṅko nikkasāvo yatatto,

Na tatra candramā bhāti,
Nādityo vai prakāśyate.

Yathā tv ihātmanā vetti,
Munir mauneyam ātmanaḥ,
Atha rūpād arūpāc ca,
