3. 4. 9. Antarāmalasuttaṁ (88)

vuttaṁ hetaṁ bhagavatā, vuttam-arahatā ti me sutaṁ:

“tayome bhikkhave antarāmalā antarā-amittā antarāsapattā antarāvadhakā antarāpaccatthikā. katame tayo? lobho bhikkhave antarāmalo antarā-amitto antarāsapatto antarāvadhako antarāpaccatthiko; doso bhikkhave antarāmalo antarā-amitto antarāsapatto antarāvadhako antarāpaccatthiko; moho bhikkhave antarāmalo antarā-amitto antarāsapatto antarāvadhako antarāpaccatthiko. ime kho bhikkhave tayo antarāmalā antarā-amittā antarāsapattā antarāvadhakā antarāpaccatthikā” ti.

etam-atthaṁ bhagavā avoca, tatthetaṁ iti vuccati:

⏑−⏑⏑¦⏑−−−¦¦−−−−¦⏑−⏑− pathyā throughout Note that we have 9 verses here one after the other without a single variation, which is very unusual in the Canonical period, though in the Medieval period it became quite common to compose Siloka in the pathyā form only (e. g. Jinacarita opens with 41 pathyā verses).
“anatthajanano lobho lobho cittappakopano,

⏑⏑−⏑¦⏑−−−¦¦−⏑−−¦⏑−⏑−
bhayam-antarato jātaṁ taṁ jano nāvabujjhati. [1]

luddho atthaṁ na jānāti luddho dhammaṁ na passati,

−−⏑−¦⏑−−−¦¦−−−⏑¦⏑−⏑−
andhantamaṁ tadā hoti yaṁ lobho sahate naraṁ. [2]

yo ca lobhaṁ pahatvāna lobhaneyye na lubbhati,

anatthajanano doso doso cittappakopano,

duṭṭho atthaṁ na jānāti duṭṭho dhammaṁ na passati,

yo ca dosaṁ pahatvāna dosaneyye na dussati,

doso pahīyate tamhā tālapakkaṁ va bandhanā. [6]

anatthajanano moho moho cittappakopano,

⏑⏑−⏑¦⏑−−−¦¦−⏑−−¦⏑−⏑−
bhayam-antarato jātaṁ taṁ jano nāvabujjhati. [7]

mūḷho atthaṁ na jānāti mūḷho dhammaṁ na passati,

−−⏑−¦⏑−−−¦¦−−−⏑¦⏑−⏑−
andhantamaṁ tadā hoti yaṁ moho sahate naraṁ. [8]

−⏑−−¦⏑−−−¦¦−⏑−−¦⏑−⏑−
yo ca mohaṁ pahatvāna mohaneyye na muyhati,

−−⏑−¦⏑−−−¦¦−−−⏑¦⏑−⏑−
mohaṁ vihanti so sabbaṁ ādicco-v-udayaṁ taman”-ti. [9]

ayam-pi attho vutto bhagavatā, iti me sutan-ti.
